Accepted Payment Methods
EFTPOS & Cards
We accept all major debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX*). Transactions are quick and secure using EFTPOS terminals.
Note: AMEX has a 2% surcharge. Diners Club is not accepted.
Health Funds & HICAPS
We support on-the-spot claims for all major health funds through HICAPS. Simply bring your health fund card and we’ll help process your rebate immediately — so you only pay the gap on the day.
Cash
We accept cash payments at all clinics.
AfterPay
Afterpay is available for smaller treatments. Pay in four interest-free instalments over six weeks. There are no fees to sign up, no monthly account charges, and no interest ever. Apply online and use it in-clinic once approved.
SuperCare Access
Eligible patients can apply to access their superannuation to pay for necessary dental treatment via SuperCare. It’s a simple way to ease financial stress for larger procedures. Visit SuperCare or call 1300 665 440 to find out more.
Interest-Free Payment Plans
AfterPay
AfterPay is perfect for everyday dental services. Pay for treatment in four fortnightly instalments. There’s no interest, no setup cost, and no ongoing fees. All you need is fast approval through the AfterPay app before your appointment.
Humm
For larger treatment plans (over $1,000), Humm offers a flexible way to pay. Choose 5 or 10 fortnightly instalments — interest-free. There are no early payout fees, and approval is usually fast. Humm is ideal for treatments like crowns, dentures, or cosmetic work.
Government Dental Support
Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS)
Under Medicare, eligible children aged 2 to 17 can receive up to $1,095 in dental benefits over two years. This covers a wide range of basic services, including check-ups, X-rays, cleaning, fillings, and extractions. At Dental Direct, we bulk bill CDBS, so there’s no out-of-pocket cost for covered treatments. Check eligibility via Services Australia.
Dental Hospital Vouchers
We accept dental vouchers issued by the Darling Downs Health Service for eligible public patients. These vouchers help cover the cost of basic dental treatments. If you’ve been issued one, just bring it to your appointment.
Veterans’ Affairs (DVA)
We’re proud to support Veterans’ Affairs cardholders. Depending on your eligibility, you may receive partial or full coverage for dental treatments through the DVA. To confirm what’s covered, please contact the DVA at 1800 555 254.
