Full Checkup and Clean (Under 10)

Young children benefit from regular visits to monitor their developing teeth and spot any early issues. A gentle check-up and clean helps keep their mouth healthy while getting them comfortable with dental care from a young age. We examine the teeth and gums, perform a light clean, and provide tips on brushing and diet.

Full Checkup and Clean (Over 10)

As children get older, their dental needs shift. For kids over 10, we offer a slightly more detailed check-up and clean to support growing permanent teeth. We check for signs of decay, clean away plaque, and offer advice on oral hygiene to help prevent future issues.

Baby Tooth Filling

A baby tooth filling repairs small to moderate cavities in primary teeth, preventing further decay and preserving the tooth until it naturally falls out. It’s especially important for maintaining space for adult teeth and preventing infection. The procedure involves removing decay and placing a tooth-colored filling in a quick, child-friendly setting.

Baby Tooth Extraction

When a baby tooth is severely damaged, infected, or blocking adult teeth, extraction may be necessary. This gentle procedure is performed under local anaesthetic with minimal discomfort and helps prevent complications like crowding or infection. It's often followed by space maintenance if needed.

Stainless Steel Crown

For baby teeth that are too damaged for a filling, we may recommend a stainless steel crown. This strong, pre-made cap protects the tooth until it naturally falls out. It’s a durable and effective option for restoring function and avoiding extraction.

Sealants

Sealants are thin protective coatings applied to the chewing surfaces of back teeth, usually around age 6–12 when molars come in. They help prevent cavities by sealing out food and bacteria in deep grooves. Quick, painless, and highly effective, sealants are a great preventive step for kids prone to decay.
